At Midnight With YOU...

Happy... Happy... New Year we're coming upon 2011
The signs of the times points closer to heaven
My heart rejoices knowing our redemption draweth nigh
Yearning to meet my Jesus as He raptures His church on high

 

Soaring through the heavenlies in the twinkling of an eye
Come quickly Lord Jesus... "Maranatha"  I cry
This old world is growing dimmer as I long to meet you in the sky
Many are turning from the faith for the lust of the world
they won't deny  

 

The signs of the times are in the scriptures for us to read
Yet many turn a blind eye not to seek or take heed
Although what you prophecied is now in our daily news
There's mockery of your laws and debauchery they choose

 

It is written when you see these things know it is near
even at the door
Glory be to God the times grows nearer to see my Lord
I'm waiting and watching with eyes opened and ears to hear
For the sound of the trumpet and "come up hither" grows near

 

Your word seems to be vibrating in my D.N.A.
As the Holy Spirit reveals your truth and leads the way
Although persecution,trials and tribulations are on the rise
I can do all things through Christ Jesus I have realized

 

For when I am weak your word is medicine to me
When I lift my hands and pray in the spirit your presence is so holy
I covet my time to be alone with you my precious Lord
As with years past I'll celebrate with communion and your word

 

All praise ,honor and glory I sing to you my King
The lover of my soul that opened my blind eyes to see
You sustain my life with your love and breath given me
Another day and year closer to bow down and worship at your feet

 

Until that blessed day I will anxiously await
Being stedfast in prayer for the lost not to procrastinate
For those that have backslidden I pray they'll soon return
You are faithful to forgive if we repent and from all evil turn

 

So many are deceived for they walk as strangers to you
Never renewing their minds as you have told us to
To be born again is a new creation old things pass away,
all things becomes new
"Abide" in You and Your word is the most profound message to do

 

I pray that through Your leading more revelation will be given
To cause Your creation to grow in spirit of regeneration
Becoming seperate from the world to be Christ Like
For this is your instructions for us to lead a christian life

 

It's December 31st and soon 2010 will come to an end
At midnight tonite I'll commune with you to usher the New Year in
I pray Lord Jesus you'll arrest hearts of all You have and will call
Not to celebrate as the world with rowdy parties and alcohol

If Jesus should come tomorrow I pray heaven will be Your home

John 4:23-24  
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers
shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father
seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him
in spirit and in truth.

1 John 2:3-8
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments,
is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected:
hereby know we that we are in him.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk,
even as he walked.
7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you,
but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning.
The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.
8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him
and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

Colossians 1:9-12
9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it,
do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled
with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing,
being fruitful in every good work,
and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power,
unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be
partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Colossians 2:1-6
1 For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you,
and for them at Laodicea,
and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;
2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love,
and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding,
to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father,
and of Christ;
3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
4 And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.
5 For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit,
joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness
of your faith in Christ.
6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:  

Colossians 3:1-17
1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above,
where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye
also appear with him in glory.
5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth;
fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence,
and covetousness, which is idolatry:
6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the
children of disobedience:
7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice,
blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man
with his deeds;
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge
after the image of him that created him:
11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision,
Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved,
bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness,
longsuffering;
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another,
if any man have a quarrel against any:
 even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14 And above all these things put on charity,
which is the bond of perfectness.
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts,
to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom;
teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and
spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed,
do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

James 4:1-7
1 From whence come wars and fightings among you?
come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain:
ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss,
that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship
of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend
of the world is the enemy of God.
5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain,
The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith,God resisteth the proud,
but giveth grace unto the humble.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil,
and he will flee from you.
