"You must want to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar"
Trina Paulus, Hope for the Flowers

Premortal perceptions flood in
And silence the voices of lies that try to strip thin
Called from before the worlds very foundation
Love's purpose chained within

Songs, melodies, harmonies, resonate
To agitate the cocoon trappings to fall from shell
Words of loving encouragement
Bring truth and light in place of a barrage from hell

Voices who speak from insecurity
Fear the vulnerability
of transparencies purity

When you respect enough
Who you truly are
Another's voice cannot outshine your star

When those who you have esteemed as authority
Bring blows that don't match what LOVE sees
Simply surrender them to Me
for a good spring cleaning

Gaze upon the Bright Northern Star
Let light refract into every prism of who you are
Revealing destiny recorded upon hearth of heart

Bandages gently unwrap
Who you have always been
Within My reflection

You were born to be free
To love yourself, others, and even enemies

When they negate
The intimacy you crave
My true love will always bring the tenderness
of words to shape
That which is inside
To fly upon wings outside
