Wasted Energy
Tell me what gave you that right to belittle me?
Always looking over my shoulder, questioning my ability
Do you think of me as being so very insignificant?
Open that closed mind, you will see something quite different.
Perhaps at the moment, you main source of your objection
Is that you form your opinion based on my complexion
There is no doubt, that i have worked hard and made a contribution
To the longivity and continued success of this corporation.
What have you conjured in your myopic mind set?
That could make you think, that i am not ready yet
Why do you think that somehow all the time?
That it is either you or someone of your ilk who must shine.
Now i can see and after thinking, this has become quite clear
You try to suppress my progress, because of your fear
But why someone of your seemingly exalted position
Try to hinder me, because of your personal trepidation
So you therefore spend all your energies and attention
Trying to impede my progress, on that road to ascension
But why did you spend all that energy, blocking me
Instead of using it on yourself a bit more positively.
Look see i live my life with an opened mind, this makes it stress free
Also believing that nothing is fixed and changes will occur regularly
Don't you see how quickly now, materials and equipments quickly become obsolete
It will not be too long before both of us will have to vacate these seats.
