In Thought
They bring the best out of my worst
Time capsules kept, my true net worth
Of her we keep, we love quite clearly
Of sentiment aroused sincerely
Some brief reminding me this day
That in my heart she is always
When short I fall and need a smile
I think of her, there stay awhile
Pondered moments when all alone
Becomes the place today condoned
But no less this time means more
More of her needed restored
They dance upon my heart and mind
A gentle nudge, a better time
To keep awhile if just in thought
My state of being, today she brought
I'll hold closer than yesterday
These thoughts of her that come to play
A song to sing, to say the least
At 4 am, sleepless at peace
