Reflections of My Heart
I Choose To Dance ღ KKD ღ
I Choose To Dance
This past year
had dealt such mighty blows
With so much of life
well that's how it goes
On can choose the past
and become stagnant and old
Or reach into the future and live
or so the story is told.
I choose to move forward
leaving in the past
Those who choose
to keep me as an outcast
Their loss or mine
does it really matter
A loss it will always be
a light to never shine brighter
Within my heart
all loves are safely kept
My eyes now dry
of the tears I've wept
Life lessons I have learned
I pray to not repeat
I will move forward
I just cant retreat
I will love in return
those who choose to do so
Those I have lost
I will find a way to let go
To hide from life
will not void the pain
I have nothing left to lose
and everything to gain
With God by my side
His guidance and grace
I will survive this thing called life
to the end of my race
Its not how one weathers the storm
It's all in reaching out to take a chance
I will fear not the thunder
For I know I must always choose to Dance
