Poetry For Everyday People
Digging Out
I lit a fire
beneath a dream,
left a lonely smile,
sat in the corner thinking,
I often try,
there's always a dream
beneath a blue moon crying,
you better believe,
don't ask the night to kiss a heart,
once there was a get-a-way,
once there was a chance,
there's always a dream
beneath a blue moon crying.
beneath a dream,
left a lonely smile,
sat in the corner thinking,
I often try,
there's always a dream
beneath a blue moon crying,
you better believe,
don't ask the night to kiss a heart,
once there was a get-a-way,
once there was a chance,
there's always a dream
beneath a blue moon crying.
