as long as i can,
this is the song that needs sung
through a lifespan....

If you refuse to play
then you're too old,
if the privilege is taken away
then that's life being cold.
So play like you're young again
before it's too late to do so,
for 1 day the wheel may spin
making you let the fun in life go.
I saw it w/my sweet mother first hand
a shell of a person once vibrant,
when sickness took command
the strength that was there all spent.
