Poetic Verses
My Valentine
At christmas time, we extend greeting and love to our brotherman
On the New year after celebration, sit and make a resolution
Then later on it is Valentine's day, and we take that occasion
To express an undying love, to that very signifcant someone.
Those merchants who are so involve in the business enterprise
Never for a moment, wasted any opportunity to capitalize
Posting advertisement and making readily available, their merchadize
As they attempt by bargaining, the customer's taste to entice.
Those people who get caught up in the hype, think it is right
Never see the cost factor, even though things are tight
As cupoid's dart penetrated the heart, its effects permeate the mind
So no other reasoning can invade, they have become quite blind.
As for me no wine, champagne not even the finest chardonnay
Will not need any floral display, or any such fine bouquet
But will make all effort to do somethings in my way
To ensure that you my valentine have a very good day.
I will write you such a poem with such words and expression
That will demonstrate my love for you is very exponential
I will write you a song with words and lyrics in such harmony
That only you and I my valentine, will dance to its melody.
Then i will take you to the moolight beach, as we walk in the sand
Letting the water touch out toes as i hold your sweet hand
As the light reflected from your eyes sparkle with that lustre
Oh! My sweet valentine you are creating in my a blissful fire of desire
As we reach out towel and cooler, under the shade of the tree
Looking as each other, having a good time and all was quite free
All that costly expenses people lavish on each other, could never exit
Or be as valuable at that moment my valentine, that we sweetly kissed.
It was such an intensity, as the height of ecstacy went into the night
Laying there together as we waited for the morning light
In the dim light as I watched your silhoette,it was such a sight
Yes you my sweet valentine was such a joy and delight.
