Loving Compassion
You must love each other,
As sister and brother;
Because love comes from God,
Whom you honor and laud.
All who have love on earth,
God has given rebirth;
Those who do not have love,
Do not know God thereof.
God has shown all His love,
With His Son from above;
For His plan be unfurled,
Sending Him to the world.
We would not be so grim,
Having new life through Him;
By cleansing us within,
From debt of our sin.
We have known and receive,
New life if we believe;
As a new creation,
Given through salvation.
The love within will thirst,
Because God loved us first;
With love you have no fear,
Since you know God is near.
