Power of Love
Like the heart muscles, Love's motion is so involuntary,
It has that ability to attack anytime and on anybody
so whether, one is rich or poor, black, white or a snob
There is no escaping, when touched by the power of love.
The effect is as if it is transported through the body like a hormone
One can see a change in personality, like there is another tone
Transforming a person who is grumpy, to one who is happy
That is a change the can be so apparent, quite readily.
Some ladies demonstrate that by a change in their dress
And one can see the various attire, as their fashion impress
As it is quite noticeable, that on them there is that glow
There is also in a difference in their steps, a smoother flow.
Then in some moment, on the face there is that bright beam
As it is quite obvious, a time was taken for a daydream
Those happy occasions of levity bring on a smile
One that seems to remain there for a little while.
As the day progresses and that time for a meeting draws near
It would be quite noticeable, how those butterflies and the blushing appear
The the day is done, the time would finally come
To spend an enjoyable moment, with that special someone.
How it seems as though all those thoughts are confine
Being occupied by one person, most of the time
It is so amazing, how we can focus so much attention
On someone we love, with the intent to create a good impression.
Even this too can have its moments that can cause pain
And also it is obvious, because the signs are quite plain
Then when the make up occurs, those around will known
Because the happiness by the body language can show.
