 ~REFLECTING MOMENTS~

TO WHAT REMAINS...

In your absence
there is a sadness
that smothers the air

The vibrations have quieted
resembling a child's hum

Our universal language
slumbers

An audio eclipse
as I hear not

Muted

Deaf

To what cusp
does one settle
where the dust remains

Where are you
my desired mahaleo

An epiphany
rippled my sleep
your hands touched me
gently

You reached to decapitate

The idea of sin
and catharsis

From a frozen martyr

You inhaled sweet nectar
of my cherry almond skin

My scent attracts you
as every word I utter

We locked arms

Between the misty wash
of Grey horizons
and charcoal images

We are drawn in sequence
together
tangled
into a luscious landscape

Behind this shear curtain
we implode by daylight
where darkness we explode

A chamber of clay inhabits
an earthly ring

Ripping magnetism stands still
smoldering
exhibiting
cylinders of ash

To what remains...
