Relationships with Unbelievers
I open my mouth unto you,
With an enlarged heart to tell true;
Your emotions start to deceive,
From all that you truly believe.
You allow yourself to mix in,
Consorting with those deep in sin;
Getting confused on who you trust,
Becoming intimate from lust.
Remember who is your Savior,
And stop improper behavior;
Inappropriate relations,
Since you are all new creations.
Why do you go out and embark,
With people living in the dark;
Associating with such fools,
That never will follow the rules.
Could Christ agree with the devil?
The same if He condoned evil;
Or if you as a believer,
Sharing life with the deceiver.
God will take them as His people,
If they will trust in the Gospel;
But warns you to just get away,
From unbelievers who disobey.
So stay away from the unclean,
Not in being part of their scene;
And you will be sons and daughters,
Of God in heavenly waters.
