My heart has commanded my brain
To restrain my tongue for the hurt it has done,
Alienating my most beloved one,
My tongue has proved itself to be my greatest enemy,
Causing the best woman I have known
To depart from me,
To leave our home,
Oh, how I miss you, need you and want you back,
Like the Sun you illuminated my life
I will remain in darkness until you return,
I apologize...
I pray to Allah that you return your love to me,
Without you I'm a hollow shell,
Empty and in need of thee,
Things will be different,
Please, please, please... believe me.
