Prayer Plea
O Lord God You remember me,
And since You are able to see;
You understand all that I do,
With each and every day through.
You watch over and take care of me,
Helping wherever I may be;
And looking at every woe,
For avenging against each foe.
But You also insulted me,
While You have ignored my plea;
For patience and not take me away,
Since my emotions led me astray.
Your words were found and so I ate,
A starving soul just could not wait;
Giving my heart joy and delight,
In nourishing on what is right.
I did not stay with those who laugh,
In defiance about Your wrath;
Because of the life they treasure,
Deals with the immoral pleasure.
You had filled me up with outrage,
Felt like a tiger in a cage;
And now I am all full of pain,
That affects my thoughts in my brain.
I ask do not refuse to heal,
For going beyond this ordeal;
And rescue me as I confess,
Please remove me from this duress.
