Poetic Verses
Because of You
This was said no doubt through generations and quite often
The master doesn't come but in his mercy someone he sends
To this I can truly attest, some things in me was undo
But even though indirectly, he came through you.
As one fully of youthful energy, I was sort of out of control
Someone once said to me, you are a very sorry sight to behold
Perhaps in another time, my deeds may have punt me in danger
But it was your presence, that made me see a bit clearer
Imagine we had no connection, not even a conversation
But you seem to have that impact, only by observation
Only that there you were at a forum an open discussion
And I was impressed by your manner, such articulation.
There you were with such a cool, calm and so mild a composure
The opponents, no matter what could get you in any way fluster
But listened attentively, let them make their representation
Then you reply that startled all with you erudition.
Then as i watched, seeing you as my sort of contrast
Why was it that I so often be willing to get angry so fast
Perhaps i may think that mine may be the only right opinion
And was not listening to or respect the thoughts of anyone.
Your demeanor, made me quickly made some mental notes
As I looked at you, there was only happiness which emotes
This made think, that it is time i should change my disposition
Your on that day, did left in me a wonderful and lasting impression.
It also made me realize in my life, I have reached that stage
That somehow, there must be some concerted effort to turn a new page
Though we did not physically, me but on thing is very true
That i made a resolve to make a life change, just because of you.
