Justified by Faith
By faith we have the approval,
From God with blessings through the Christ;
And confession with removal,
Of all the sins that had enticed.
So we now have the peace with God,
Because of what the Lord has done;
And now we can honor and laud,
Since the Father gave us His Son.
Through Christ we are in His favor,
In which the cross has bridged the breach;
For Jesus is our Savior,
Using His Word for us to reach.
So we can brag through confidence,
As well as into suffering;
Because He gave us endurance,
Through the cross for an offering.
Endurance creates character,
So we are not to be ashamed;
For we become an instructor,
Any time that we have proclaimed.
The love of God pours through the heart,
With help from the Holy Spirit;
And through the body to impart,
Through the thought and speech and merit.
