don't drown in a sea of confusion©

Not trying to step on any toes
with that in mind here goes....

You ever have 1 of those times
you wanna run w/scissors in your hand,
just because simple creative little rhymes
drive you insane forcing you to take a stand?
Those that know me at all
know i'm kind hearted should be enuff said,
but that brick wall
is getting hard on my head.
I reckon freedom of speech
comes with a price,
the point i'm trying to reach
is that i shouldn't have to
explain once much less twice....


Several times when i've spoke
some questioned my motive,
i am but simple folk
with my imagination to give.
I do not speak in tongue
i use that term loosely,
i've had my bell rung
and it just makes me crazy.
Use your common sense people
when reading a poem of imagination,
don't get your belly so full
of downright confusion.
I write for myself
it helps in part to make me complete,
i don't keep my mind on the shelf
but i can show cooth by being discreet.
So to those of you out there
give me some credit please,
if i have a problem with you to be fair
you'll be the 1st to know it-geez louise!
(and i did say please)
Stop and smell the roses from the start,
have less trivial pursuits and
more beneficial journeys of the heart!!!!
