THE WAILING WIND


 
  
  



The Wailing Wind

Hush - hush -  be still - hear the wind
It is talking to me
Like a lion it is roaring - wailing like a cur dog

In the late of night it moans
Making the house groan
I feel so sad all alone

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hush - hush -  listen - hear the wind
Out the window I take a peek
Leaves and limbs in a spiral high
The wind is crying

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

From the roar a bell tolls
echoes you are not alone
calm and quite settles over the land

 Leaves lay in a heap as sleep over the land creeps
Hush - now  it is quiet - hush
The wind no longer weeps

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The wind is soft and gentle
Caressing all nature tenderly
Hush - hush - listen
The wind is whispering to me
