Always Prepare
In the morning into the long noisy traffic you drive
Enduring that rush, as you work the nine to five
Make the input, being a driving force in the production
But alas, you were overlooked when it come to promotion.
Its obvious you were hurt by such a situation
But was told you had the experience, but not the qualification
To rub salt into that wound, that made the pain ran deeper
You had to train the person, who leap frog over you, up the ladder.
Realizing that, you try to put it at the back of your mind
Accepted it, in the pretext, that there is a changing in time
But what drove you on was that determination,was for you children
That they will not be denied an opportunity, as it was in your situation.
But time and well as life moves on, and there is that paradox
That can bring along those move of such great shocks
Because even though they are well qualified, that made no difference
They were confronted with the saying, that they had no experience.
Before in your time, you had the experience, training but not qualified
But yet those qualified, seem to easily passed you by
Now experience and qualification, is the demand set by the market's pace
So this has now brought a different perspective to the surface.
Parents of today, try to re-enforce in the children more and more
That perhaps important to their future is to do a home chore
Even though they may see it as be of no significance
But who know down the road it may be something of great importance.
