The Christian Victory over Death
It is still a mystery,
Over death with victory;
But no need to wonder why,
That not all of us will die,
I am trying to inform,
Since all of us will transform;
And happen in an instant,
Seem witching to the extent.
For when you will be around,
And hearing the trumpet sound;
So at that time you will know,
Floating upward you will go.
Then like waking from a bed,
Come back to life will the dead;
From the dark they will sever,
So they can live forever.
These mortal bodies decay,
Corruption going astray;
In my mind there is no doubt,
A new one will not wear out.
So then after your last breath,
For victory over death;
A celebration to bring,
We ask death, where is your sting?
For the sting of death is sin,
Powered by His laws within;
And through Christ that God will give,
From faith a new life to live.
