Parents Be Aware
Who on children make that first and very important impression
It is the parent, from who they get that initial lesson
There when they go out and are way from the home
What they see and are taught will be borne
Don't discount that fact, that they are not looking
Just secretly observe them whilst they are playing
You may hear lots of your not so thoughtful expression
Ones you thought went unnoticed, and into oblivion.
Also never think t that state of apparent helpless infancy
That you should take them for granted, and so treat that lightly
Because that image Can live in their little minds
And they will reproduce that picture in later times.
As a babe of a few months, on walks my niece observed a boat under construction
She would look at it as we passed each day, some steady observation.
The boat finished and was take out to sea, as we passed she spoke
Looking at the spot where is stood, she shouted BOAT!
This really surprise me, because in those day in my opinion
I just thought she was enjoying the walk, and looking around
So that picture of the boat became more formed in her memory
That she remembered it location even though it was now in the sea.
So parent be careful in all the things you do
Be always mindful that the children a looking at you
If they did thing, that sometimes not meet you favor
Look closely at yourselves, the ones who are that early mentor.
