Demand better from the Politician
There has to be some special talent in a politician
Whose activities on can see only at a specific season
When they come around during that period of campaigning
To once again straddle the electorate, with some talking
They also have invented a new dimension in statistics
It is so remarkable, how they can add a new area to the subject
And the history of the constituency, they can recall
Even down to the performance of the predecessor and all.
Some on the political flat form, will resort to mud slinging
And sometimes the electorate, find that so comforting
Even going that depth, of mentioning the rival's family
Thus showing that in this game, there is little respect for anybody.
In some cases sectors of the electorate gave the some latitude
By going to them for handouts, and seeking any form of gratitude
And more ofter than even, feel compared to other are very blessed
When they are in some cases given a form of largess.
But it is like a miracle to hear some of their views
As if with some omniscience they were got infuse
Now suddenly have plan for the parochial development and advancement
But to some this will be only and election announcement.
But i thin the constituents should meet, devise a plan
Try to demand more respect, and action from their politician
But so long as they on focus on what they can personally gain.
That well used route of prevarication, will always remain.
