God Promises
My plans are not of sinful ways,
That do not hold true through these days;
Rather I say when it is true,
It is a benefit to you.
And the same way it is for God,
For He is not some type of fraud;
He is just like a trusted friend,
Who you continue to depend.
The Word to you is not a fake,
Because God will never forsake;
For the Father had sent His Son,
To ensure that the job got done.
So Jesus Christ really did live,
To die so that God could forgive;
But was brought back to life again,
For eternal life to attain.
So God promises us the same,
If we too believe and proclaim;
To other men and women,
And honor God to say Amen.
His seal is on everyone,
As a daughter or as a son;
And His Spirit a guarantee,
Given us on His covenantee.
