once upon a time
520,825 poems read
An ordinary day, my stomach in knots
Old people, places, things calling the shots.
Knowing a way to help get some stillness
But pain keeps coming, making me ill.
A million friends for everyday,
But stubborn or careless that’s how I stay.
Few problems shared could still my mind,
But my thinking is off as no answers I find.
This too shall pass and I thank God above.
Fear will win if I don’t accept his love.
He taught me to learn that my faith keeps me strong.
Each ordinary day I keep plodding along.
