Garbage
What seems to be such a great problem this age
Is that what of how to manage and reduce the amount of garbage
The continued growth of the world's population
Will of such make an impact on it production
In some countries, some politicians find it a bitter pill
When it was decided ti grace their constituency, with a landfill
They know that this will not still well with their constituents
As they are not prepared to deal with the emanating stench.
Sometimes it is very unsightly, when passing by a vacant lot
As some people will believe that it is just the right spot
Before long people will use it as a place for garbage disposal
Even though they know that such is illegal, and the owner liable.
Even so some of us seem to be act in a very irresponsible manner
Willingly treat, this problem, like a very small matter
Because sometimes, there are places with many bins around
And some people ignore and just throw their garbage to the ground.
But what a health hazard the will pose, as it decompose
The pungent scent will not be pleasant for the nose
Attracting flies, as well as all those gnawing vermin
Whose also bring leptospirosis, which is life threatening.
In the landfill those bacterial and chemical decomposition
Can be the source of noxious gases, by some reaction
Organic gases like methane, what that very high tendency
To explode because of its flammability and great volatility.
But all is not lost we can start by some mass education
In teaching all about the ways and impact of garbage production.
Like trying to separate, and even ways to recycle
Let us all play our part as we are collectively responsible.
