Those who touch our lives each and every day
are recognized as friends we have met along our way
but what about those we have met just once or twice
who have left a lasting impression just as nice
So many touch our lives in their own unique way
un-knowingly of what their actions may display
prints of their souls to feel or touch lingers on
long after the incident to which we seized upon
The end of year is when we should bring to mind
comfort we have gained through words so kind
showing appreciation to all who had their say
in bringing us wisdom of life in a very special way
