I wept until
the rays of morning light
seemed to say enough...
i mused at all the things
that made me cry through the dark...
i imagined and dreamed for a less troubled time
maybe before i knew true sorrow?
then i wondered how long
has it been that i kept
my feelings prisoner in me?
as i gathered my thoughts
peace was running through my body
rejoicing ridiculously...
as i heard the quiet whisper of YOUR VOICE inquire
"did you find MY poem in your pain?"

Joy always comes in the morning
it follows those long nights of pain
I'll never leave or forsake you
your doubts will dissolve from the rain
Hurt only last for a season
so fight every feeling to complain
trust ME because I HAVE PROV-EN
I am faithful to always remain.
