Refreshing
Nectar of Light
& Love
I'll willingly taste
& drink whole
& bathe in
Swimming in
& amongst
The stars
For I am
Made of them.
I fly alongside
Comets which
Are both
Playmates
And the bed
I sleep in
Leaving
Trails of
My dreams
With colors
Mortals can
Only imagine.
I have friends
Scattered across
The heavens
And others
Think they
Are only
Projections
Of their sleeping
States,
Not flesh
And bones
Just as much
As they
In the light
Of day.
Beloved,
Sweep your
Grand paintbrush
Across galaxies
Against the
Blackest canvas
Greens deeper
Than the sea
And brighter
That the greatest
Neon we
Have ever
Conceived.
Red flares
Are but dim sparks
Compared
To the ones
That Hubble
Dares to look upon
And yet for
Those of us
Who swim
Bodiless
Amongst
The stars
The scope
Of these
Gas giants
Is incomprehensible,
As a wash
Of awe
Overcomes
Us.
The dream
Reclaims what
Consciousness
Cannot grasp
Onto.
As we wake
The dream
Melts back
Into oblivion,
Leaving only
Fragments
For us
To remember
That we can
Do more
Go farther
Fly faster
See more
Than we
Realize…
We are all
Made of
The stars
And
Our souls
The stuff
Of Dreams.
