The Long Road Home...

I want to tell you something,
And I don't know where to start,
So if you please, bear with me,
And I'll tell it from the heart.

Life has its up's and down's,
This we know is true,
But sometimes its so very hard.
And we don't know what to do.

When we start our journey,
We find things on the way,
Sometimes we make mistakes,
And that really is ok.

Now as we go through life,
There's twists and bends all round,
And when we need support,
There's plenty to be found.

You have a little problem,
And you want to change your ways,
You can do it, yesireeee!
And you will have happier days.

Now life is never as easy,
As people seem to think,
There's twist's and turns everywhere,
And sometimes life does stink.

But there's always a brighter side,
And soon you will be there,
You've got lots of support,
From people who really care.

There's no such thing as TRY,
The one we need to hear is this,
You WILL, because you want to,
Life's not a game of hit and miss!

We only got one life,
And I want to make it clear,
No matter what the problem is,
You cant sort it out no fear.

You got to keep on top,
And deal with all this stuff,
And then, before you know it,
You'll have gotten through the rough!

So the thing I'm trying to say is,
Don't you dare give in,
Its do or die and that is why,
You are going to win!

So there it is my ditty,
Especially just for you,
To show my bit of support,
For all you're going through!

I never know how to sat things,
So my poems help me out,
And if you ever need an ear,
Then just you seek me out.
