 145. Tantalizing Red
What is it with
Women in Red?

Do they know
It enflames us?

Red lips
Red dresses
Red paint
Red hair

She knows.

She has forgotten
Her fears
Because the color
Has returned her
To when she
Was a child
Playing dress up
Only the game
Has changed
My love,
Hasn't it?

It's no longer
A child's gaze
That looks
At me
With those
Taunting
Playful
Looks
Dressed as
You are
In the war
Paint,
& feathers.

We pose
For playful
Pictures
Against a
Red wall
Standing on
A love seat…
Our faces
Close enough
To kiss
And damn it
If my ears
Don't give away
What other
Parts of me
Feel.

I am swimming
In a sea
Of red,
Passion
And lust
No doubt
I am not
The only
One…
But if it
Is only
A flash
In the pan
Or something
More…
I can only
Await your
Decree…
Because the
Tantalizing woman
In red,
Is the one with
All the power,
To grant
My wishes
& desires…
I only have
Love.
