NO MEMORIES

NO MEMORIES

All photographs removed, all memories
Severed, any reference to the past hidden
Deep within old chest of drawers,
Lets not give credence to lives once lived.
Laughter, loud, and raucous, that once rang true.

Those time are gone, bury them deep in regretful
Minds, don't take them out, you might remember
All those good times, good people, best forgotten now,
Only clutter, spread around a dead room, that we once
Called the living room, sit in silence,
Let the television do your living, and remembering.
