'' Heaven Or Hell ''
What would life be without Heaven or Hell,
no God or Satan to tell us all's well,
without these beliefs just where would we be,
if you try to imagine then maybe you'd see.
If we lose our belief that God reigns supreme,
then life on our planet is no more than a dream,
there'd be nothing to pray for we'd be left without hope,
without purpose in life just how would we cope?
If we'd nothing to aim for would life be worth living,
there'd be no good or bad nor any forgiving,
we'd have nothing to pray for or anything to fear,
it's then we would ask well why are we here.
There has got to be something at the other end,
if we lose sight of that what message does it send,
could it mean we're not special after all,
the thought we'll just die really does appalL.
Faith is what makes us all truly unique,
without it we'd all have our troubles to seek,
helping all others is in our genes,
it gives us all pleasure to know what that means.
There are times when we will be happy or sad,
there'll be situations which will drive us mad.
but we all need something in which to believe,
a friend or relation to help us to grieve.
If there's nothing there we'd driven insane,
we live in the hope we'll meet loved ones again,
if we take what scientists are saying as true,
we'd be better off dead there'd be no more to do.
By having faith and belief we can all plan ahead,
if we don't see the light our future is dead,
we are nearing the point of no return,
we need to wake up or the Earth will burn.
We are guardians of this planet so like it or not,
to save all living things will take all we have got,
we must recognise first that we are to blame,
if we can manage that we can help lift our shame.
Working as one with faith on our side,
we can save all Gods creatures we can stop the slide,
but to reach our goal when all's said and done,
all religions together must work as one.
The mammals and plants all the fish in the seas,
the insects the plankton the birds and the bees,
as sure as Gods children need a father and mother,
we are inter dependent on one another.
As one species dies another will follow,
soon there'll be nothing now that's hard to swallow,
but like it or not it's a known fact,
extinction's the outcome unless we all act.
The essential elements which are truly a must,
are trust in each other and the ability to trust,
if all living creatures on Earth are to thrive,
only we with Gods help can keep them alive.
As time is now short there can be no distraction,
the main requirement's universal reaction,
if we say there's no God we sound our deaths knell,
there'll be need to worry about,
