 ~REFLECTING MOMENTS~

REINCARNATION




Infant movements
toward trust
and love

Fragile embryo
re-birth in comfort

We will reach again
to be reborn
from the last
heart wound

Tiny steps forward
watch closely
listen carefully
guarded

Standing at the threshold
of yesterday and tomorrow
presently forbidden

Harnessed and chained
warning off predators
clawed defenses

Sounds of empty spaces
echo thru doorways
...doorways forgotten

Pathetic pools
swirl with memories
let them sleep
dream like chemistry

The tickle of new
sunflowers
and rolling meadows

With arms wide
being dubious
walk with pride
welcome loyalty
as am I
