Live not in Sin
If we have died with Christ,
We have been sacrificed;
And have suffered the loss,
By hanging on the cross.
We also then believe,
Salvation we receive;
Because He does forgive,
So with Him we will live.
What was on there has been,
Will never die again;
Since death has no power,
Making Satan cower.
So you are dead to sin,
And corrupted within;
But power from the light,
Will cause you to shine bright.
If to the cross you cling,
Then death will have no sting;
For the cross shows the way,
In walking to obey.
So never let sin rule,
Or you will be the fool;
To obey desires,
That Satan requires.
With sin you are a slave,
That takes you to the grave;
And you will live no more,
Closing the coffin door.
