I have wished upon a star
I have followed my illusive dreams
I have built a number of stairways to heaven
And I have traveled across every known seas
The stars are endless, when wishing upon them is all there is
Dreams are made with hope of being fulfilled in the future
Step after step, I've journeyed upward on endless staircases
Floating on endless oceans of confusion with nothing to bear
Reach for one star at a time and find they can come true
Dreams can and do come true, laced in the drive to fulfill
Step one step at a time and discover your goals; then strive
From sea to shinning sea, they reach a shore of fulfillment
I have ridden on a White Swan floating around Fairytale Land
Floating on a lake calm as glass does sparkle as Crystal
Mirrored reflections of days past in splendor array
Crystals and diamonds light the way to questions galore
I've traveled from one star to another, then another I see
Satisfaction wanting to hold me back instead of searching on
Strive onward, believe in yourself that an answer will be found
Stairways lead to doors with not a key on a chain anywhere
Don't be afraid to walk through every door in your search for answers
Be it the spirit, or the heart, or the soul for God is everywhere
Climb higher and further to a brighter light that shines the way
I have wished upon a star and reached my illusive dream,
I've finally reached the last step in the
"Stairway to Heaven".
