Follow Your Heart
I give to you all that I am
All that I will ever be
I pray you care for my heart
ever so tenderly
I ask that with your past
me you do not compare
As I stand before
my heart and soul naked and bare
We all must learn from the past
but that must be where it lives
I am not her... You are not him
the open and true heart forgives
Oh the joy of love given
grows with love in return
It sets a soul ablaze
oh how ones heart does passionately burn
Sometimes its forever
sometimes not
But the joy with in
is never forgot
The chance taken
is worth the pain
It is only then
we dance in the rain
So my precious
I must follow my heart
and you must follow yours
if a true love is to start
As the song says
"Follow your heart
Sometimes no louder than a whisper
Follow Your Heart
Always You'll find your way home."
