Convicts of Sin
It is justice that you should seek,
What is handed down whence you speak;
If you file a good report,
Then you will win your case in court.
For your lawyer is Jesus Christ,
Who explains why you were enticed;
And the Father is just and fair,
Pardons you from confessional prayer.
But God can vent anger and wrath,
While walking down the wrong path;
Judging with an eternal pain,
As you feel the fiery rain.
Even though good and bad on earth,
God can still judge what it is worth;
Since He will be judging each one,
Defense lawyer will be His Son.
For I just tell one little lie,
I am a sinner judged to die.
But only if I do believe,
A defense lawyer I receive.
Without faith I have no defense,
And I will pay the consequence;
Then Satan will have won his case,
For the defects will not erase.
