when love falls short©

only getting 1/2 way there:
because for some
love doesn't wanna play fair....

The best feeling is to know true love
taken to paradise is what we all need,
having something dreams are made of
2 people swept away on a magical steed.
But sometimes a person just doesn't fit
always feeling like an outsider so sad,
if you think about it you must admit
that it wasn't that special what you had.
Cause when true love is found
it casts a magic spell,
paradise is always found
and it will free you from hell.
A heart is as delicate as lace
and can tear so easily,
but with a lover by your side you can face
the hard times with bravery.
I've known such people
who thought they had it all,
and that so called love took its toll
leaving them so broken after the fall.
In a world created out of love so divine
it's a sin so many suffer everyday,
getting so near to something so fine
only to have the other take it away.
There are some people who just can't win
no matter how hard they try,
the wheel of fortune takes a wrong spin...
leaving them alone and waiting to die!
