WISHFUL THINKING
WISHFUL THINKING
Lips pressed within a wisdom fair
Arms that are longing to be shared
Eyes embraced in a tearful waterfall
A friendship there, that is always on call
Like a lovers whisper, a silent hint of fall
Brightly flowing halos of a Sunshine's call
I to you, like a sudden ragging waterfall
Forever am I mystified by a friendships law
By the powers of your minds quick recall
At an arms distance we dance a tuneful ball
It's hard to be realistic, tragic as it may seem
I'd rather believe in Fairy tales with you in my dreams.....
