THE WHISPER OF LOVE
THE WHISPER OF LOVE
Tenderly you spoke to me in a whisper of love
The volume one degree above heaven's soul
From the window my lost horizon now minuet's
With the back of my fingers I brush my cheek
Clearing the joy before it can be witnessed
Sighing softly, mingling with the ocean's breeze
I ride on its warm aroma of tantalizing spices
Feeling the island magic in each others arms
The sunset slowly slips over the distant islands
Orange bursting into brilliant red fading outward
To deep burgundy, painting our villa like a Picasso
The island Sun-God is about to say, "Goodnight"
That great big ball of sunshine is sinking slowly
Down behind the ocean's horizon, lower until (PUFF)
The blowing out of a candle; silhouette's are created
At that very moment you can feel the push of air
Ancient island elders called it, "The Wind Of Change"
She stirs like a kitten, slippery in her chocolate teddy
Arms stretched over her head, eyes inviting wickedly
I join her in joyful play; she rolls atop pinning my arms
Her beautiful long hair lies across my chest and face
Orchids permeates her hair and flesh, driving me crazy
She throws her locks back, leans forward, tenderly she
Kisses my lips teasingly, saying, "We have reservations"
Alright my love, but we eat island dessert here in the villa!
I watch her getting ready and I know my love is endless
What we had and what we've got, time can't take away
My heart sings, my body dances, touching her is loving her
While you were sleeping, I talked with the Heavenly Father
He told me you're one in a million; I'm to hang onto you
I'll love you for all time and that you can depend on
You whispered love so tenderly to me, I cried inside...
