Before me, against all odds
Always this solitary darkness
I name thee loneliness
A part of me it has become
I can't seem to resist
His comforting touch, so cold
Tonight, for the rest of my life
It's felt, far as a soul deepens
Singular, Individual as in keeping
My surroundings, in the making
A cube against another cube
Dark in sight and plus in many
Each placed just so, precised
To reveal and reflect on the soul
Plants, shades of green are placed
Stationed to and fro, mood setters
Evenings last sunshine captured
As it filtered throw crystal panes
Rainbow, fractured across the wall
Cascading pleasures to my sight
Good morning, for each day I say
In return, it gives a dream or two
Cascades of sight pleasures
Stacked, placed upon the shelves
My interests in the written page shows
Books of many flavors, bitter to sweet
Knowledge holds no bars to my mind
Mirrored surfaces reflect a collection
A lifeless stationary menagerie
Animals seem to dance at my request
An encasement of floating chiffon's
Address the glass panes before me
Melodically like a breeze gives movement
Graceful manner is an added touch
Floating like angels with gowns that trail
How graceful, how peaceful in feeling
What is this at my feet?, It is Blue
There is no doubt she dreams of chase
Home I come and greeted by my items
Shoes I kick off and flop into my sofa
A deep breath I do take and let out slowly
I look around at the angels floating
Blue in chase, focus on the rainbows
Across the walls and bookshelves,
That hold my soul in solitary darkness
I call loneliness as the cubes change once again.
