Your labored breaths I hear my dear
I couldn't help but froze  in fear
I leaned closer and held you tight
Your groans stabbed my heart with fright

Tears flowed freely in abundance
This time you might not have a chance
Faintly your voice came in a whisper
'Don't worry, I'll be fine my dear'

Moment like this made me see
How precious you are to me
We can live and die together
Without you life is hard to bear

In this world filled with mystery
Hope in power that men can't see
Faith the strength I can live on
My God, the strength I've ever known.
