Great Gains
A godly life brings in great gains,
With huge benefits it contains;
They are content with what they got,
And resisting what they have not.
Zilch came with us when we were born,
And nothing goes when others mourn;
For you cannot take it with you,
No matter where you may go to.
Having food and clothes on your back,
Then there is nothing that you lack;
And should be content all the time,
No need for committing a crime.
But people want more than they need,
And getting rich in a life of greed;
Then keep falling into a snare,
Where Satan located his lair.
They are trapped by those desires,
That temptation lights the fires;
And makes all of those hidden lust,
Deceive to think that they can trust.
The love of money is the root,
That will give abundant fruit;
But actually distorts their minds,
Filled from the evil of all kinds.
Christians having a lot of grief,
From their faith that lost its belief;
Because they have now gone astray,
When they started to disobey.
