Of Daylight's dawn
with memories cast
In the windows of the mind
dreams of fellowship come along
Awaiting the snowstorm of Humanity
drifting though he hunger of tomorrow
In times of greatest need
with the food of worth and pride
Seasoned with Humanity's deeds
the song for Equality is sung
With no sound for the ears of all
searching for love and compassion
Waiting for Gentleness's call
no maps are drawn those in need
For their pride keeps locks on their doors
distilling the false joy that's late
Coveting their riches more
still wandering in the desert of the poor
Searching for a spring each night
that leads to prosperity's door
With pride held tight
all are equal in presence
Materials are nothing
compared to self worth
Because the beginning is us
blossoming into others in the world
That may become love or friendship
filling the heart with true gold
Then the compassion of the mind
where all Joy is passed
Draws tight upon the line of time
with no one left to be last.
