Keep Me From Drowning Lord

Lord,I feel like I am drowning in a sea
of emotions in which takes my very breath away
give me your strong arms of love to reach
down and grab my hands to rescue me today.

I am so lonely and the thought of losing
the child you intrusted to me with this life
even though I nourished,love and help her grow
she thinks of me with bitter and strife.

My body aches from juggling this tide
it seems I've lost her on every side
so lift me from this vast ocean I see
confort me while I learn how to abide.

Love is a strange and wonderful thing
but it can be torn from it's very core
show me where I've gone wrong in wanting
a relationship that's strong which can soar.
