Again the roots are snapped and broken from another pull.
It aches. Just when you feel things are going your way again,
The mind sinks from heavy thoughts of what to do.
Eyes look at what bloomed from your daily living.
A person travels so many back roads trying to plant a foot,
Just to get ahead and you think it feels safe, to feel secure.
Hi-ways cannot sprout new life like blood in the veins.
It gives a food supply but constantly races forward.
The hi-way is a speedster and any type of growth is nearly impossible.
My heart feels the pain of lost memories.
They'll remain locked inside, but when needed,
They will be tapped in order to see them once again.
My eyes saw my surroundings day after day.
I could close my sight forever and know my footing from room to room.
I could step outside and know where every rock is and every tree as well.
Again another seed must take to Mother Earth.
May it grow full strength and beautiful. May she place her children
tightly together, so they will have a chance to grow big and strong.
Every thing in life has a beginning, middle and an end.
Were born, we live and grow. Then we pass on. So such is life,
HELLO, and then ANOTHER GOOD-BYE!
