I Smile To A Better Day Though I exist in the mist of greed, power,jealousy, and sins Beneath the shadow of evil emerges life's beauty and mysteries. So I smile to a better day Though life is filled with obstacles that may be the climax of my being, hit you so hard that life itself slows down just to prolong the pain Ill get up and test the waters, conquer my fears I'm not alone, success is within reach So I smile to a better day Though love may be a curse and carries its own cross, a virus it is Lost and Forsaken Lies and Persuaded Fake and Betrayed Driven by lust its misused Doubtful it is but faithful it can be Support it gives Strength it builds Life it brings, and bells ring A covenant it stands, our foundation, we breathe Everlasting and true once found So I smile to a better day Though our time is short and one of many I walk but special I am And when my time comes ill leave with a mark on history as I smile for a better day but fade to a better place.
