Old Flames
Old Flames
A venerable feeling as i stood in her presence.
A balmy smile i give to her. i keep my bearing as my heart races.
Lost emotions rekindle: Her touch, her feel, her aura makes my body weak;
as i look into the eyes of the woman i first loved.
Prostrated by this moment my heart yearns for her once more.
Emotions seep through my veins and my current state of lost and regret, sadness and pain.
At peace i became, at peace i am and blessed by her very touch, afresh i've fallen for her.
Nothing but smiles and giggles, our connection was never lost just put on hold.
A pending blessing she was, she is, and precious, i desire.
A night to remember as we kiss and cuddle into the night, promising never to leave eachother's sides.
And to the morning i wake to a beauteous angel laying by my side.
I ponder about our future but in God's hands i leave it,
For my love is all i want to give And her love and smile is all i live for.
