The Unrighteous Left Out
I am not allowed to do all,
Not everything is helpful;
For I might merely trip and fall,
As maybe spiritual harmful.
But I am allowed to do all,
Though not for a personal gain;
When it is not against the Law,
That God has sent from His domain.
Anything that would gain control,
That would tempt me and build a lust;
Taking over my very soul,
Wanting to acquire my trust.
Any food is for the stomach,
And your stomach is for your food;
But if you go and run amuck,
Does not put God in a good mood.
So the same for sexual sin,
Since your body is for the Lord;
Will reject if corrupt within,
If lusts have caused it to be lured.
For two people will become one,
Even if one is a harlot;
And you then cannot join the Son,
Nor within the Holy Spirit.
Stay away from sexual sin,
And other sins that people do;
For you will never enter in,
The gate to Heaven going through.
