A Serving of Reality
Everyone has two sides to them
One self serving, one who bends
And though I try my best to be
I come up short as some believe
But before the eyes that count
That preached to thousands on the mount
This work in progress still remains
Faithful to Him who knows of pain
Some will try to pass judgment
Without cause their argument
Is that I don't serve a cause
Like one should that's in accord
GOD knows my heart and will judge
This son of man who holds no grudge
For in the end what really counts
Is what I tried to write about
Some written to spread His news
Others mine yet still He used
To touch someone unknown to me
To leave His mark of destiny
And though this site's name reads selfish
I'd testify your right I'm worthless
But in His wisdom granted me
He chose simple above greatly
You see poet I try to be
But more mouth piece of Him in me
Who allows a chance to state
My mind like yours with whats at stake
A serving of reality
Most all His that made it so
Others mine He won't let go
